WoW Patch 9.1.5: Corpse Flies, Gromits and Aquilons - the new Hunter Pets

With patch 9.1.5, the WoW development team brings a lot of adjustments to increase the quality of life for players in World of Warcraft. These include, for example, the simplified pact change, Animapost to Twinks and many other system updates that are currently causing a lot of discussion in the WoW community. It's a good thing that the developers remembered to design a few new hunter pets in the midst of all the hubbub. There's plenty of room in the stable, after all!

Corpse Flies

We'll start with the corpse flies. They are the newcomers in the large family of hunter companions. You can find these fascinating fliers all over Maldraxxus and in certain parts of Korthia. The best thing about corpse flies is that they are part of the wasp family and thus not undead. So any hunter can tame them without any tomes. The flies come in four different colors.

These cute little animals come from Korthia. The Gromits are a mixture of Shardhides

and alien amphibians. They belong to the animal family of toads and are also available to all hunters. So far, only three tameable color varieties of the Gromits have been discovered. Source: Wowhead Source: Wowhead Source: Wowhead

New colors for Aquilons

Finally, we introduce you to the new color variants of the majestic Aquilon. These mechanical companions have been available since patch 9.1 to all hunters who are either Gnomes or Goblins, or who have captured and learned the Mechanical Imprint Matrix. The item can be obtained from the Engineer of your choice. If you are an engineer yourself, you can buy the recipe from Xur'ios in Dalaran (Legion) for a Curious Coin. The gold and copper Aquilon are now joined by a silver and black variant, which perfectly match the Kyrian outfits and mounts of the same colour.
