WoW TBC Classic: SSC and/or TK? Warcraftlogs Phase 2 Raids Poll

It certainly won't be too much longer until Blizzard announces the start date of Phase 2 for WoW: Burning Crusade Classic

. Especially many raid-enthusiastic guilds should be looking forward to the upcoming chapter of TBC Classic, because with Phase 2 the first two "big" 25-player instances of Outland will open their doors: the Serpent Shrine in the Zanga Marshes as well as the Eye in the Netherstorm Fortress of Storms.

And just like in WoW (buy now €14.99 )

Classic, there will once again be guilds looking to battle it out for the fastest world-first kill times in the TBC Classic era. Phase 2 of Burning Crusade Classic, however, brings with it a special feature in this regard: As soon as the servers are available or the phase starts, two equal raid instances will be open to guilds. Previously, there was only one new raid instance per phase or a clear prioritization (such as Temple of Ahn'Qiraj > Ruins of Ahn'Qiraj).

Since the World First Race will once again be documented by Warcraftlogs Classic, the website's administrators want to set up a ruleset for the upcoming TBC Classic phase that clearly defines how the World First Race will be judged, among other things.

To that end, they've launched a poll in which any logged-in user of the site can participate. Here are the options to choose from for the poll:

  • Both raid instances will be rated completely separately for the world-first race. In other words, there will be a first place for the Serpentshrine and a first place for the Eye.
  • The guild that masters both raid instances first will win the race. There are no other restrictions. So large guilds can send different raid teams to SSC and TK.
  • The raid group that masters both raid instances first wins the race. If a guild swaps too many players or sends a second raid to the other raid under the guild name, the attempt will not count for the World First Race. The limit of one raid group will be lifted after a predefined time window (about 24 hours).
  • The raid group that masters both raid instances first wins the race. If a guild swaps too many players or sends a second raid into the other raid under the guild name, the attempt will not count for the World First Race. The limit of one raid group will remain forever.

If you're interested in the World First Race in Phase 2 of TBC Classic: Which option would you prefer? And how fast do you think Lady Vasjh and Kael'thas will go down for the first time? Tell us in the comments!
