Many fans have been wishing for it for a long time: a Mage Tower 2.0. Now the developers are at least partially fulfilling this wish and have announced a return of the Mage Tower from Legion for patch 9.1.5. However, the feature does not come back into the game one-to-one, but with a few minor adjustments.
Unlike in WoW (buy now €14.99 )
: Legion, the Mage Tower won't open its doors consistently to players willing to test it. Instead, it will come into play as content for Legion's timewalk events, and then alternate with other timewalk events on a regular basis. The Legion timewalk will be exceptionally available for two weeks at the release of patch 9.1.5, and one week at a time thereafter.Of course, as in Legion, you can unlock a number of special rewards by completing the Mage Tower challenges (which remain the same, by the way). However, because the developers promised after Legion ended that the Tower rewards would no longer be available in WoW, there are now other bonuses.
Each class gets its own armor set, which are recolor variants of Legion sets:

Last but not least, Druids have a very special bonus to look forward to: Because members of this class had the opportunity to obtain a unique alternative bear form during Legion, such a new bear form will also be available for the Timewalk Mage Tower, namely a devil version of the advertising bear form.
